With the complete redesign of the TQMI system, which better reflects the company structure now, the mimacom-Flowable Group has reached a milestone in their certification history.

After one year of intensive work, mimacom CH, mimacom management AG, Flowable AG and mimacom Deutschland GmbH are now (re)certified according to the ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.

About ISO: ISO 9001 is the international standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS) and was developed by the ISO (International Organization for Standardization). The quality management standard ISO 9001 is the most important of its kind in quality management, both nationally and internationally. It defines minimum requirements for internal quality management. An essential part consists in continuous optimization of all operational processes, which are regularly reviewed.

ISO 27001 is the leading international standard for information security management systems. It applies to private and public companies as well as non-profit organizations and defines the requirements for the introduction, implementation, monitoring and improvement of an information security management system (ISMS).

The two certifications (DIN ISO 9001 since 2005 and ISO 27001 since 2016) as part of the company DNA represent an important and confidence-building basis on which secure, long-term and sustainable partnerships can be built for mimacom, its customers and its employees.

“The next goal we are considering is the certification of the rest of the mimacom-Flowable Group. The roadmap will be drawn up at the beginning of next year”, said Agim Emruli, CEO of the mimacom-Flowable Group.

Bern, 25.09.2019 – Effective September 2019, the Swiss mimacom-Flowable Group acquires a majority stake in Luware Holding AG, the pioneer for innovative customer service solutions headquartered in Zurich. This makes the mimacom-Flowable Group the new majority shareholder of Luware. The operational management of Luware Holding AG remains unchanged in the hands of the founders Philipp Beck and Michael Jakob, who are responsible for the further growth and development of the company.

“Both the mimacom-Flowable Group and Luware have been able prove themselves on the market with similarly strong organic growth in recent years. The acquisition of a majority stake in Luware Holding AG is a strategic investment for mimacom-Flowable. The investment will not only expand mimacom- Flowable’s service portfolio, but also create enormous added value for customers through synergies in the areas of know-how, technology and service portfolio”, says Kurt Amacher, Chairman of the Board of Directors of mimacom-Flowable Group and Luware Holding AG.

Both companies have great innovative power and know-how in digital transformation for customers in key industries such as banking and finance, insurance and manufacturing, and have recently been able to secure major contracts with the federal government in Switzerland.

“The mimacom-Flowable Group has proven that, through continuous innovation, it can offer its customers increasingly tailored end-to-end digitalization solutions and thereby realize steady and strong growth. The acquisition of a majority stake in Luware will further advance this goal and optimize communication and interaction with customers in the digital age. One of the most important arguments for the investment, however, are the shared values and the very similar culture as well as the drive for innovation, which is equally lived by the employees of both companies”, says Agim Emruli, CEO of the mimacom-Flowable Group.

With Luware, the mimacom-Flowable Group is able to offer its customers increasingly requested features such as voice call, video call and screen sharing. Luware, in turn, can benefit from additional message channels such as WhatsApp, WeChat and Line, which can be integrated into customer interaction processes. Together, a comprehensive Omni-Channel customer service solution can be offered to companies and employees which streamlines processes to attract new customers and optimally reaches the existing ones.

“The strong innovative drive of both companies and the development of cloud platforms will make digitalization possible for all sizes of business in the future. Through the mimacom-Flowable Group, we can also benefit from market access in North America and the Asia-Pacific region. Luware will remain an independent brand and organization. An integration into other companies of the mimacom-Flowable Group is not planned at this point. We focus on using synergies to the advantage of our customers”, says Philipp Beck, CEO of Luware Holding AG.

With this investment, the mimacom-Flowable Group will grow to over 350 employees worldwide.

Bern, July 1, 2019 – The Swiss digitalization expert mimacom-Flowable Group is taking over 100% of the consulting company godigital, founded in 2017, from the previous owner ICG (Information Consulting Group). With this acquisition, the mimacom-Flowable Group strengthens its leading position in the field of digital solutions that help companies in Europe, North America and Asia to reach existing and new customers in the digital era.

The company specializes in the development, introduction and further development of digital platforms for business applications in the areas of marketing, sales and service based on the Salesforce customer success platform. “With its expertise in Salesforce, the world’s largest customer- and CRM-platform, godigital represents an ideal addition to the product- and service-portfolio of the mimacom-Flowable Group, which has already seen strong development and growth in recent years with the digitalization experts from mimacom and the case- and business-process-management platform Flowable,” says Agim Emruli, CEO of the mimacom-Flowable Group.

Bern, Switzerland, May 2019 – The year 2018 was a complete success for both companies in two ways: Financially, the company achieved a global increase in turnover of 18% – strategically, the merger of the two companies Flowable and mimacom will set the course for further growth.

The Swiss open source digitalization expert mimacom and the business process management specialist Flowable AG (formerly edorasware ag) merged in 2018 under a single holding company. In the previous year, both companies reported record sales figures in their respective company history. The project business was further expanded in the core countries of Switzerland, Germany, Spain, the USA and Singapore, and both companies were able to increase global sales from CHF 5.7 million to CHF 38 million (previous year: CHF 32.3 million).

“2018 was a great year and an important milestone for Flowable and mimacom. With the merger, we have laid the foundation for further growth and we are looking forward to the upcoming year,” said Agim Emruli, CEO of Flowable. The group’s first joint business year coincides with the 20th anniversary of the digitalization expert.

“Switzerland is and remains the most important market for Flowable and mimacom,” Agim Emruli continues. “It is the home market of both companies, which have their roots as well as their headquarters in Switzerland. In 2019, in line with the strategic roadmap “think globally, act locally”, the Flowable Group will therefore focus on the market of Switzerland. “We see particular opportunities for growth in Zurich where we are represented with our own branch in order to optimally exploit the great potential in the banking and insurance market”, the CEO of the Flowable Group continues. Especially in the promising area of Conversational Banking, Flowable brings its expertise to both existing and new customer projects and is continuously expanding the characteristics of its product portfolio.  Customers from the government and manufacturing sectors can also benefit from the expertise of the Flowable Group in digitalization projects.

In combination with the positive order situation, the merger of the two companies thus represents an optimal starting point for future development. Flowable and mimacom will join forces to further expand their customer service and intensify their relationships with the strategic technology partners Pivotal, Elastic, Confluent, Liferay, Avaloq and Siemens Mindsphere. On the product side, the focus will be on the Flowable solution. From a market perspective, the Flowable Group will concentrate on the target industries of finance and insurance, manufacturing, automotive and life sciences in the core countries of Switzerland, Germany, Spain, the USA and Singapore.

“Through the internationalization during the last few years, our customers will continue to receive the highest level of quality from 14 locations worldwide, and mimacom’s service portfolio and Flowable’s product portfolio will continue to be further developed and expanded to the benefit of our customers,” emphasizes Agim Emruli.

Flowable again clinched Best in Show at this year’s bpmNEXT, beating off fierce competition from other leading BPM and Intelligent Automation vendors, including Appian, Bonitasoft, Fujitsu, IBM, Kissflow, Red Hat, SAP and Trisotech.

In the conference’s own words, bpmNEXT has consistently been the defining launch pad for the ideas and innovations surrounding technology-led business process innovation. Presentations are not case studies of past successes, but vision statements on where we are going next.

In our presentation, “The Case of the Intentional Process”, we described and demonstrated how using standard-based Case Management to manage process-driven chatbots had enabled our clients to provide intention-sensitive customer engagement.  In simple words, our chatbots could be smarter because they “knew” when they were appropriate for the user’s needs.

This year’s result follows on from winning Best in Show last year, which in turn built on our first attendance at the conference in 2017 that won us the Most Promising award. For us, the focus of the conference on people deep into BPM and Intelligent Automation makes the awards even more meaningful. It’s not about how good is your marketing, it’s about how innovative is your BPM technology.

A video of the presentation can be seen on the Flowable YouTube Channel.

We are pleased to announce that in 2019, Flowable will again participate in bpmNEXT, which is now in its 7th year.

The event which will take place in Santa Barbara, California on April 15 – 17 remains the definitive showcase of the next generation of Business Process Management– covering Advanced Analytics, Blockchain, Decision Management, Digital Transformation, Robotic Process Automation, AI, the Internet of Things, Process Mining, and the next generation of BPMS platforms.

It´s not a typical “how to” conference aimed at BPM newcomers. It is designed specifically for those already chest-deep in BPM and wanting to get in early on the next generation of process innovation technology – touch it, see it, and influence it.

Presentations are not case studies of past successes, but vision statements on where we need to go next. With over 20 leading-edge sessions, including the full gamut of technology spearheading the next wave of process innovation, combined with the “Business of BPM” workshop,  you  get the chance to participate in the future of BPM.

An insight to some of the work at Flowable will be presented in “The Case of the Intentional Process” given by our Chief Product Officer, Paul Holmes-Higgin, and our Chief Technology Officer, Micha Kiener.
